A LITTLE MORE, WITH LOVE
I’ve always been drawn to the finer details…
Growing up, I found myself immersed in anything that felt like art. Drawing portraits, ballet, traveling, figure skating, beauty, fashion… I’ve always loved curating a feeling and an aesthetic. Now as an adult, my wardrobe is color coordinated, and I’ve spent years working in beauty and retail simply because I crave being surrounded by it.Even though I tried to talk myself down, I believe I was always meant to end up in design. I originally started off in college majoring in chemical engineering, which feels so inauthentic looking back. But in a way, staying true to who I was led me to something better. My background in digital design, computer science, and business led me to pursue UX, where I spend my days thinking about how people experience things and how I can improve them. And over time, I turned that question inward. How could I improve the experience of my own life?A few years later, I met my fiancé, Seth, and moved from my home in Pennsylvania to Cleveland, Ohio, where Paige & Press would eventually begin. As a Penn State graduate, I’ll admit it took some getting used to. But somewhere in that transition, everything started to fall into place.Planning my wedding became a turning point. Designing my own save the dates was something I had been looking forward to from the very beginning. And when I started exploring letterpress, something just clicked. It wasn’t just about how it looked. It was how it felt. That’s when Paige & Press was born.
